Abortion is legal in Wyoming with some restrictions. Currently the law makes abortion legal until the point of ""viability"" based on the development of the fetus. Wyoming has no a waiting period. The law requires that a parent or guardian give their consent for a minor child to have an abortion.In March 2023 a new law banning abortion in Wyoming went into effect. The law is being challenged in the courts and is not in effect.
